At school
When Dylan got to school that day, his friends asked him right away about his birthday gift. The year before that he had received an expensive tablet from his mom. This year’s present had to have been even better! Dylan didn’t dare respond and avoided the questions.
Dylan thought long and hard about what he had done. He had taken money without asking. Money that wasn’t his and that he hadn’t earned. His mother’s action made him see his actions in a different light.
He decides to do something that nobody around him expects.
