It seems like he’s about to explode when he hears a cry for help from the bullied teenager behind him, the penny finally drops. The man lowers his eyes and turns around. He seems ashamed of himself.
He mumbles something while trying to avoid eye contact with anyone nearby. A similar reaction seems to spread to certain other customers.
