We no longer have to speculate whether Meghan is pregnant
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot, rumours of Meghan being pregnant are regularly doing the rounds. We can now stop all of the speculating because we’re fairly certain Meghan isn’t pregnant at the moment. However, there is one telltale sign that might give away that Meghan and Harry are expecting in the future.
It all has to do with Meghan’s beautiful hair.
Pregnancy announcement
In the case of Kate Middleton, it was announced pretty early on that the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William were expecting a child. This had to do with the extreme morning sickness Kate was dealing with. If Meghan were to become pregnant in the future, it will probably take a little while before the rest of the world is informed about it, though. But there’s one thing that might give away when Harry and Meghan are expecting a baby.
Hair
Meghan Markle’s hair is naturally curly. “My mum is black and my dad is Dutch and Irish, so the texture of my hair is densely curly,” the Duchess of Sussex explained in a 2011 interview. In that interview, she revealed that she’d been getting a Brazilian blowout for that reason for a few years already at the time. This is a procedure in which curly hair is straightened through the use of a ton of chemicals.
Curly hair
Etiquette expert Myka Meier explains to website Fabulous that the Duchess will have to stop getting a Brazilian blowout as soon as she gets pregnant. “We don’t know what she does to treat her hair now but it is likely she used a keratin or a Brazilian treatment to straighten it. As soon as she gets pregnant she will no longer be able to use those same products.” That’s why it’s pretty likely that Meghan’s hair will change when she becomes pregnant. Of course, we won’t know for sure completely, but it’s definitely something interesting to keep an eye on.
