The royal couple definitely wants to have kids!
The entire world collectively swooned when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married a little while ago. Their wedding was just so beautiful and they looked incredibly happy together. Ever since then, everyone’s been speculating about if and when the couple will start a family. Rumours have even been flying around about Meghan already being pregnant during the wedding. This is what Prince Harry said about the topic very recently…
He said the funniest thing!
Baby fever
Both Prince Harry and Meghan have always been very clear about the fact that they do want kids, but they have not been very clear as to when they’d like this to happen. We’re thinking they might still be enjoying just being aunt and uncle to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Or perhaps their cute niece and nephews have given them baby fever themselves? Harry and Meghan recently went on a visit to Ireland where a fan of the royal family has helped us get some information about their plans!
Kids
While in Ireland, Prince Harry got to talking with a fan named Elaine Adam-Stewart, who said, according to People: “My husband also has red hair and he gave me five children–when are you and Meghan going to get going?” Harry laughed in answer and said: “Five children? Too many.” While we think it would be adorable to see five tiny, red-haired royals, we totally get that Harry wouldn’t want that.
Family
Back in November, when Harry and Meghan had just gotten engaged, the couple sat down with the BBC for an interview. Back then, they were already asked whether they wanted to start a family anytime soon. Harry then said “not currently, no”, adding that they were taking one step at a time. He also said the following, though: “Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.” Maybe that near future is now here? We’re waiting with bated breath for that pregnancy announcement! Whatever they choose to do, however, we wish Harry and Meghan all the happiness in the world together.
