Nadya Suleman gave birth to eight children in 2009 and was nicknamed Octomom at the time. In the meantime, her offspring are quite a few years older. The mother shares on Instagram how her octuplets are doing now.
Octuplets
The octuplets of Octomom are the only octuplets born in America where all the children have survived. Before Nadya had the octuplets, she was already a single mother of six children. “Words can’t describe how grateful I am to be your mother. You are my wonders, my angels, and I will love you with my whole heart, forever. Happy eleventh birthday Noah, Maliyah, Nariyah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, and Makai,” the mother wrote in one of the photos of her children on Instagram.
Media attention
After the birth of the children, Nadya became known in the media. This was initially due to the medical debate surrounding the practices of her fertility doctor. The doctor placed twelve embryos back after an IVF treatment, from which eight children were born. The doctor thus lost his authority. After telling on television that she was on welfare, she was threatened and her car was vandalized. Octomom later returned to the media due to her work as a stripper and porn actress.
