Hide and seek
What happened? Cade started playing one of the most famous children’s games very early. It looked like he had been playing hide and seek. He had been completely hidden behind his sister during the ultrasound so the doctors had not noticed that there was a second baby in Nicole’s tummy.
“Nobody expected this,” Nicole said later. “Everyone looked like they had seen a ghost when they found out Cade was coming.” While the couple recovered from the surprise and childbirth, the medical team was hard at work. All their attention was focused on caring for little Cade.
