The reason
The man had spent 20 hours at the spa. He had spent his time well. Massages, special treatments, herbal baths… The man felt reborn. There was only one big problem: he had let himself go a little too much, so he didn’t dare to face the receptionist now.
Oops, the man had let himself go a little too much during his visit to the spa. That can of course mean a lot. Had he behaved badly towards the staff? Had he made a fool out of himself when he tried to flirt with a masseur? This would explain why the man would try to leave the building unseen.
