The name of the dog
The museum organized a competition where their visitors could come up with a name. Some of the best entries were selected for an election. The most popular names were “Stuckie”, “Chipper” and“ Dogwood”. In the end, the name Stuckie turned out to be the most popular. This became the dog’s new name.
The museum’s marketing team was on a roll. A number of visitors had noted that the piece of trunk Stuckie had been trapped in looked like a pecan nut. So the museum decided to sell pecans in their museum store. The museum was able to earn a lot of money because of the animal.
