Sendai Daikonnen, officially known as Sendai Tendou Byakue Daikonnen is an enormous statue depicting Byakue Kannon, a figure from Buddhist lore. She holds a cintamani gem in her hand. This gem is said to be the Eastern equivalent of the philosopher’s stone.
