Lena knew she needed to find out the truth. She needed to get away from this conversation as quickly as possible.
“Thank you for your concern, sir,” she replied, forcing a polite smile, “I’m all good. Is there anything else I can do for you?”
“Oh no, that’s alright,” he smiled, then reached into his wallet. “Wait a second,” he said as he handed her a white business card, “This is my business card. I’m afraid I ruined your dress,” he pointed to her coffee-stained skirt, “My secretary will reimburse you. I apologize once more.”
