After giving himself a buzzcut, Joel walked over to comfort his friend, before using a blow dryer to blow off the excess hair off of both of their heads. Neftali then shared the video to TikTok, where it quickly went viral – with over nine million views, two million likes and 26,000 comments.
He also posted the clip to Instagram, where he also went into detail about what had happened. He wrote: “‘You’re not alone’ – those were the words of my great friend and colleague immediately after he shaved his head and told me he would continue to shave with me until my hair grew back. For those who don’t know him @imjooeel is not just a colleague, he is like a brother to me. I love you bro.” Real friendship!
