No sympathy
After the accident he tried to call her a couple of times but she didn’t pick up the phone. One day he finally managed to get in touch with her, but what she said to him broke his heart. Olivia told him that she wasn’t able to come see him. There was no sense of sympathy in her voice and she ended the conversation shortly after.
When Charles ended the phone call he knew that his days were numbered. He thought about the way Olivia had treated him and he felt deeply sad within his soul. He decided that he would spend the last few days on this earth, teaching his granddaughter a lesson.
