Mr Thompson looked at her seriously: “Your grandfather stipulated in the will that you must live in his house for one year and take care of it as if it were your own. If you do not fulfill this requirement, the entire estate will be donated to charity.”
Olivia was stunned. She had never expected her grandfather to have such a condition in his will. She didn’t know if she could handle living in his old, creaky house for an entire year, but she also didn’t want to give up her inheritance.
