They were terrified
A call was placed to the local police, who arrived to find the goose still steadfast at the entrance of the cul-de-sac. They tried gently guiding it away with traffic cones, but the goose stood its ground, honking in protest. Eventually, animal control was called in, and the bird was safely escorted from the area, though not without a few more honks of defiance.
