Nathan’s pulse quickened as he pulled out his phone, urgently dialing Samantha. “Sam, listen to me,” he said, his voice a low but firm command. “Get to our room and lock the door. Don’t open it for anyone, no matter what you hear.”
The worry in his voice was impossible to hide, but he knew she’d understand the seriousness. She gave a tense agreement before hanging up, leaving Nathan with the task at hand. He bolted toward the captain’s quarters, a few security guards following close behind.
