2. Sunny yellow
The color yellow is associated with the I of inducement and interactive. People with a yellow personality can be heard from far away, they’re enthousiastic and energetic. They’ll talk your ears off and can make you laugh your troubles away. They always have a positive influence on others. Having a good time is a person with a yellow personality’s first priority. Their downfall? They don’t always let other people talk. They may miss social cues which can create chaos. During conversation “yellow people” will come close to you, touch you, and use lots of expression and humor.
3. Soft-hearted green
The S of submission correlates with the color green. People with a green type of behavior give off a friendly energy, are good listeners, and are experts at service. They are modest, attentive, agreeable, and don’t necessarily need to be in the limelight. You’ll quickly share all your secrets with “green people” thanks to their soft and calm ways. Their downfall? They need to learn to put themselves first sometimes.
4. Bright blue
The temperament most fitted to the color blue is that of compliance. People with a blue personality are easily trusted, caring, critical, and cautious when making big decisions. They love facts, analyses, and results and have an eye for detail. These people have to be extra cautious of not losing themselves too much in the details. They come across as very thoughtful. They make direct eye contact and conform to situations based on information and signs.

Okay, technically only the four colors above are part of the DISC method. But hardly anybody identifies with only one color. In fact, it’s safe to assume that everyone identifies with bits and pieces of all the colors. In general, everyone has one main color and one or two sub colors. Do you feel like you’re just as blue as you are red, or just as red as you are yellow? This makes you unique, because this behavior allows you to blend into situations seamlessly like a chameleon. Sometimes you’re centerstage and sometimes you can be found in the wings. Do you have a purple personality? Make sure you keep your own identity.
