Enormous pain
In a blink of a second it happened and there is nothing Ruth can do about it. She witnessed the scenario as if it happened to someone else and all she can do is look at it.
In some sort of slow motion, Ruth feels a big hand push her aside, causing her to stumble and fall. She tries to catch herself with her hands but realizes she’s going to have a painful fall anyway. And then it happens, she slams to the floor. But instead of feeling enormous pain, she immediately thinks of Happy: “Where is he?!”.
