Standing at the edge of an old, weathered well, their eyes widened in realization. Something had fallen down the well, and the distressing noises were coming from within its depths. The bear, with an almost knowing look, hinted that this was where it wanted Hana and Peter to lend their assistance.
The well opening loomed like a bottomless black hole ready to swallow them up. As Hana peered down, the cool damp air from within seemed to cling to her skin. Even though they couldn’t see anything, they were sure something was there because they could hear its strange, echoing cries of distress.
