Back to the military base
After four intense but beautiful days, it was time for Brooks to go back to Fort Bliss to finish his training. While it was difficult to leave Millie behind, Brooks knew he was doing the right thing. Now that Millie had been born, Brooks had even more of a reason to become a soldier and fight for his country. On top of that, Brooks and Millie were able to see each other often on FaceTime throughout his time in service! After 245 days, he was finally able to hold her in his arms again.
