Her father looked at her and took her hand. “It’s just nerves girl, everything will be fine,” he said in his reassuring soft voice. “You know I have been hard on David for a long time, but he’s a good kid and I am more than happy to give you away today”, he smiled. Emma looked at him and felt so loved and yet so sad. She didn’t want to ruin the perfect picture of his son in law. Then the music started playing.
She could hear the song “All of Me” playing. The song she and David listened to endlessly in days leading up to the wedding day. The song seemed perfect for them and it had already brought back such beautiful memories for her. She had fantasized about being led to the altar to this song, where David waited for her with a loving look in his eyes.
