You can do so much more with peanut butter than just eat it!

If you ask us what our favorite thing to put on a sandwich is we’ll give you an answer straight away: peanut butter. This delicious, creamy peanut paste will never bore us and it contains a lot of healthy nutrients as well. But did you know it’s not just delicious, but also very handy?

You can use it for tons of chores around the house!

Scratches

It happens before you know it: a big, fat scratch on your wooden table. It’s a bummer, but what can you do about it? Well, just take a trip to the cupboard and get out your jar of peanut butter! This food paste can work miracles when it comes to scratches. Rub some peanut butter (without bits of nut) onto the scratch and leave it to sit for 30 minutes. Rub away the peanut paste with a cloth and the scratch will have disappeared!

Leather

Leather sofas, chairs, shoes and purses: you can bring them back to their old shine with some peanut butter (again; without bits of nut). Add some of the paste to a soft cloth and rub this onto the leather. Your leather belongings will shine like never before!

Stickers

Have you spilled some glue or are you unable to get that annoying sticker off the new plate you bought? Got chewing gum stuck in your hair? All of this can be easily fixed with some peanut butter. Rub the peanut paste on the glue, sticker or chewing gum. Leave it to sit for one or two minutes and you’ll rub away the offending stickiness without any trouble.

Shaving cream

We’re well aware that this sounds really weird. But if you want to shave your legs and you don’t have any shaving cream on hand; get out the peanut butter. The paste is rich in oils, which makes it very smooth and an excellent alternative to shaving cream. Apply a layer of it on your legs and shave away. Another plus: it also has a very moisturizing effect on your skin. It’s a win-win situation!
