Jewelry: Jewelry is also one of the things that can be affected by moisture, even when it isn’t stored in a damp place. Do you want to prevent your jewelry from discolouring? Then it’s a good idea to put a bag of silica gel in your jewelry box.
Condensation: Especially in winter, condensation is likely to appear on the windscreen of your car. You can prevent this from happening on the inside by placing a few bags of silica gel on the dashboard; spread them from left to right.
Phone: Whoops, did you drop your phone in water? You might be familiar with the rice trick (which you can find here), but did you know that silica balls are much more effective? Fill a bowl with the balls, place your phone into the bowl and leave it there for 24 hours. You’ll notice the silica balls are much more effective than the rice.
