2. Handle your kettle wisely
Something you probably don’t often think about is that your kettle can also consume quite a lot. Especially in times where energy is so expensive, many people will drink more tea to stay warm. However, if you let your kettle /heat up an excessive amount of water, it will also consume an unnecessary amount of power. That, in turn, will cost you extra. So it’s wise to fill the kettle with exactly the amount of water you are going to drink.
1. Only turn on a full dishwasher
A dishwasher is the godsend in the kitchen area. It saves us a lot of time and effort. However, if you run a dishwasher while it is not fully loaded, a lot of power and water is lost. Therefore, always wait until you have enough dishes for a full run. With that simple act, you can save yourself a lot of money in the long run.
