Hello filled piggy bank!
We would all like to have a well-filled bank account. Unfortunately, for many people, spending money is a lot easier than saving it. That’s why we have a very simple trick that will allow you to easily save 1,500 euros per year.
Saving money
An ice cream here, a coffee to go there, a nice meal out or a pair of new shoes: spending money is no problem. And especially now that everything is becoming more expensive, we see our bank balance decreasing daily. So it’s time to start saving! The principle is easy: you should spend less money than you receive. In practice, this is often more difficult. Fortunately, there is a trick that makes it easy to save money.
1,500 euros per year
Saving 1,500 euros a year. That sounds attractive, right? And it’s also very simple. All you need is a piggy bank or a separate bank account (which you really can’t access, because cheating is not allowed). On Mondays you put (or deposit) 1 euro here. And you can probably spare that one euro, but we’re not there yet. On Tuesday you add 2 euros, on Wednesday 3 euros, on Thursday 4 euros, on Friday 5 euros, on Saturday 6 euros and on Sunday 7 euros. In this way you save 28 euros per week, without really feeling it in your wallet.
For all
Of course, it’s not easy for everyone to set aside 28 euros per week. In that case, take a look at where you can still make a profit. For example, take your own lunch to work and order food less often. Invest in a good coffee mug so you can bring coffee from home instead of the expensive to-go variety. And do you really need those jeans now, or can you wait a little longer? If you make such considerations daily, this savings method is accessible to everyone. And remember: you don’t spend the money, you put it aside to enjoy it later. Because after a year you will have saved 1,465 euros, to be exact. You will be grateful to yourself!
