It’s awfully cold at the moment, which means we’re all scraping our windshields every morning. It’s an annoying chore, especially when you’re in a hurry, but you can hardly leave without doing it. Not only will you risk getting a fine if you can’t see out your windshield properly; it’s also very dangerous. Luckily, we’ve found a way that will make your life a little easier! With this viral trick, your frozen windshield will be clean and defrosted in no time at all.

In case you were wondering why you’ve been seeing people walking outside with a plastic bag of water: they were off to clean their windshield. The trick is very simple: you fill a plastic bag with lukewarm water (don’t make it too hot!) and then carefully move it over the frozen windshield. You’ll notice the ice will melt immediately and your windshield will be clean in a jiffy. It’s best to wipe away the melted water on the windshield with a clean cloth afterwards. Otherwise, it might freeze again quite quickly.
