A substantial cost
The project that Patrick had in mind was not cheap. He spent almost 40,000 euros to buy the water tower. Anyone who thought this would be Patrick’s biggest expense, was wrong. The architect had to throw in a whopping 1.9 million Euros (2.1 million Dollars) to realize his dream house.
Long-term project
He wanted to maintain the original structure of the building and provide it with a modern twist. Unfortunately, it was not easy to get the right permits for this project. The Belgian had to wait a total of seven (!) years before he was allowed to start his project. And he then spent five more years working on the project itself.
But his hard work and patience were rewarded. Are you curious about the end result? Then watch the video.
