We love browsing through property websites and looking at the most beautiful or extravagant homes we can find. Recently, we found this penthouse at the famous Keizersgracht in the heart of Amsterdam – and it’s for sale. From the outside, it looks like a perfectly normal home, but wait until you see the inside…
“Unique, atmospheric and Art Nouveau; those are the three words that best describe this beautiful penthouse” is what the description on Dutch property website Funda.nl says.
Penthouse with elevator
According to the seller, this home has been completely renovated with attention for the smallest details. You can reach the home with an elevator and it has a total size of 237 square meters (777 square feet). The home is divided over two separate floors and it also has a huge roof terrace of 141 square meters, with an amazing view of Amsterdam. The penthouse at the Keizersgracht is for sale for 2.3 million euros.
Art Nouveau
We were pretty surprised when we saw the inside of this penthouse, and that’s especially due to the interior design. It resembles the art movement Art Nouveau, or Jugendstil. The colours and interesting shapes inside the home and the furniture are very special and unique. We’re not sure if we’d like to live here, though… What do you think of this home?
