Wow, we’d definitely want to live here!
Some families live in houses, some live in apartments and others… Others live on the smallest inhabited island in the world. And then we don’t mean a place like Long Island. No, this family has an island all to their own! The Sizeland family bought the smallest inhabited island in the world and you have to see the pictures!
Wouldn’t we all like to be there right now?
Isolation
After spending time with family for a while, nearly everybody loves to isolate themselves for a little bit. No drama, no whining; from nobody. Sounds like heaven, right? What if we told you you could find your peace and quiet at the smallest inhabited island in the world? ‘All’ you need to do is go to the United States, where you’ll find Just Room Enough Island.
Record
In the St. Lawrence River, which separates New York from Ontario, you can find tons of small little islands. One of those islands was bought by the Sizeland family in 1950. They bought a cute, small home and planted a tree. The island is no bigger than a tennis court and was named smallest inhabited island in the world by Guinness Book of World Records. We have to admit we’d love to spend a week there some time!
