Jacob came up with the idea of ​​building a small house after he met a girl that lived in a small hut. From this moment Jacob decided to live in a small house too. So, he lived in a small house for a short time, and whenever he moved, it was always into another small house. One day he thought of building his own small house. He asked the owner of the forest if he could build a small house in the middle of the forest. No sooner said than done: Jacob now lives in his own house in the forest.

Used materials

“I wanted it to look like it was really part of the forest; that was my goal,” says Jacob about the appearance of the house. Moss decorates the roof, and it fits in well with the forest’s surroundings. Jacob used recycled wood to build the house. For example, he used wood from an old bowling alley for the veranda.
