Annoying task
Cleaning the window frames, in particular the bottom bits, is an annoying task what with all those corners and grooves. We dislike it so much that we put it off endlessly, and sometimes refrain from doing it entirely. It’s important to clean it every now and then, though, because if it’s covered in dust, this will all blow into your home as soon as you open the windows! Because it’s difficult to clean it with just a cloth, we’ve got a trick for you that’ll help you easily clean the corners of your window frame.
What you need:
- Baking soda
- Cleaning vinegar
- Dish soap
- Water
- An old toothbrush
- Kitchen roll
- Wet cloth
- Spray bottle
How to do it:
Sprinkle baking soda on the edge of the window frame, and make sure it also gets in the corners and grooves. Fill the spray bottle with equal amounts of cleaning vinegar and water. Add a few drops of dish soap and shake it well. Spray this mixture on the window frame in all the places that you just covered with baking soda. Scrub the window frame with the toothbrush, and make sure all of the filth is away from the edges. Then, sweep it up with the kitchen roll, and clean it with a wet cloth to finish it off.
