Inside the house, the living room brings the anime to life with a low, traditional Japanese table where Shin-chan’s family gathers for meals. The design reflects the simplicity and warmth of the show, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere.
The kitchen features functional appliances and an arrangement reminiscent of the anime’s charmingly modest setup. Every detail has been considered to make fans feel as though they’ve stepped into Shin-chan’s world.
One of the standout features is the bathroom, complete with a bubble bath. This playful touch nods to the show’s humorous moments and adds a fun, interactive element for visitors.
Outside, the garden is a true highlight. Shiro’s doghouse, lovingly crafted to replicate the anime’s design, is the perfect touch for fans eager to explore every detail. The car parked nearby—an old vehicle refurbished to match the one in the anime—completes the immersive experience.
Despite the many challenges, including borrowing 3 million yuan ($410K) to fund his project, Jiang remains committed to his vision. His mum, although initially skeptical, supported him with a sum of money to get the ball rolling. Now, Jiang hopes to recoup his investment by turning his creation into a tourist attraction, and he’s not stopping there. His grand plan is to recreate the entire Kasukabe town and even the Futaba Kindergarten to further immerse visitors in the world of Crayon Shin-chan.
