2. Turn off the heating
If you leave a room, turn off the heater. It’s a shame to heat up hallways and guest rooms if they’re barely being used. Make sure you keep connecting doors in the house closed, so that less heat escapes and the rooms where the heaters are not turned on also remain at a nice temperature. If you apply this trick, you’ll be saving up to 200 bucks annually.
