3. Eat more bread
This tip makes us a lot happier! Do you have a diet that’s low in carbs and protein? That can cause nasty smells because your body is more likely to use its fat supply instead of carbs as energy. In this case, your body burns fat which causes chemicals to accumulate in your body – and these chemicals exit via your mouth, which can lead to an unpleasant odour.
4. Drink enough
Drinking a lot of water can contribute to having fresh breath. But you can switch it up with another drink for even better results. Try drinking tea instead! A cup of ginger and lemon tea can work wonders for your breath. And it’s good for a lot of other things as well. Ginger is a true miracle root. It works wonders when you’re feeling nauseated, and also helps against feeling bloated and stomach and intestinal problems. Plus, it lowers your blood pressure and boosts your immune system, which is great when everyone around you is getting the flu. Ginger also helps when you’ve got sore or aching muscles, no matter what is causing it.
5. Spices
Cardamom, which belongs to the same family as ginger, is a sweet spice that is a prominent part of Indian cuisine. It contains a lot of antibacterial properties, which is why it is used as a natural mouth freshener. So, if you want to get fresh breath quickly, you can chew on a cardamom seed.
