19. Vinegar
Another item on the list is vinegar. Vinegar does not need to be stored in the refrigerator. In fact, it’s best to store it in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct sunlight and heat. This is because the cold temperature of the fridge can cause the vinegar to become cloudy, which can affect its flavor and appearance.
Additionally, vinegar is a fermented product, so it’s already been preserved and doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge to prevent spoilage. Keeping it in the fridge can actually cause the vinegar to go bad faster due to the fluctuations in temperature that can occur when the fridge door is opened and closed. If you want to keep your vinegar fresh for as long as possible, it’s best to store it at room temperature.
