It’s (literally) a shining presence in your kitchen and gives everything a more luxurious look by just being there: stainless steel. The downside of this great material is the fact that it takes a lot of time and energy to clean. Simply touching it can leave an annoying stain already.

Of course, a kitchen is made to be used, so you can’t prevent some stains to appear here and there, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be frustrating. You could use some soapy water to scrub and polish like crazy every time someone touches the stove, fridge or exhaust hood, but there’s no need for that. Stains will disappear miraculously if you briefly polish your stainless steel with a cloth or cotton ball with a few drops of baby oil. Plus, it provides a protective layer as well!
