Glass shards
Oh no! You’ve just accidentally dropped a glass on the floor. Shards have scattered everywhere. You’ve probably used a dustbin to pick up most of the larger pieces, but you are sure that there’s some finer glass dust still on the floor. If you decide to use a paper towel to pick up the remaining broken glass, you’ll risk cutting yourself. What to do now?
Picking up broken glass
That’s right, you use bread instead! To remove all pieces of broken glass, without the risk of cutting yourself, simply pull out a slice of bread, drop it on top of the glass, push down lightly and dispose of the bread. You can repeat this until you’ve gotten rid of all the glass. It is an easy task due to the soft and spongy texture of the bread.
