We don’t need to tell you that the toilet is a breeding ground for bacteria. Everybody knows that you have to clean it on a regular basis. Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t clean it often enough or don’t do so thoroughly enough. The general advice is to clean the toilet at least once a week, and to clean both the inside and the outside of the bowl as well as the entire room that encases it. You should also take into account the number of people that make use of the toilet. The rule is: the more people, the more often you need to clean it.
