3. Pills on sweaters
It’s so annoying and also a little bit sad when you have a new favourite sweater but it starts pilling after a few washes already. You know, those tiny bits of fluff that are stuck to your sweater and make it look a lot less pretty. For this trick, you should use a pumice stone of good quality because a cheap one might leave a stain on your clothing. Here’s what you have to do: carefully rub the stone over the pills to loosen them and then use a lint roller to remove them from the fabric of the clothing. It will look as good as new!
4. Pet hair
Do you have a dog and does it ride with you in the backseat of your car on a regular basis? Then you’ll be familiar with a backseat covered in pet hair. Luckily, you can use a pumice stone (and a vacuum cleaner) to remove the dog hairs from the upholstery of your car. Use one hand to rub the stone on the backseat and loosen the hairs and use your other hand to suck up the hairs with your vacuum cleaner right away. This trick will also work for carpets inside your home. Take a look at the video below if you want to see how it works exactly.
