A pumice stone can be a lot more useful than you might think!
Pumice stones are usually used to remove calluses from people’s heels or hands. People who suffer from cracked heels a lot can benefit from one of these stones. But did you know this stone is also very handy around the house? That’s right! You can use it as a very handy cleaning tool. We’ve got four household chores for you that will be made a lot easier by a simple pumice stone.
Do you already have a pumice stone at home?
1. The toilet
Is your toilet looking less than fresh due to a gross yellow ring in the bowl? If a classic cleaning product doesn’t do the trick, you should give using a pumice stone a try. By wetting the stone and using this to rub the stains, you can remove the yellow ring from the bowl of your toilet. Do make sure your stone is properly wet or you might scratch the surface of your toilet bowl.
2. Oven
Do you prefer not to use chemical cleaners or ammonia when you’re cleaning your oven? Then a pumice stone might be a good alternative for you. It’ll help you clean your oven without all of those nasty chemicals. Wet the stone and attacks those grease stains! It’ll take a bit of elbow grease, but in the end, the grease in your oven will be gone! Like with the toilet, make sure your pumice stone is wet enough so you don’t cause any scratches.
