This way your laminate floor will be wonderfully clean and shiny once more!
Cleaning the house; it’s a never-ending story. Floors are especially frustrating: you’ve hardly turned your back after vacuuming or mopping, and everything’s dirty again already. Over time, laminate can get really dull and no one likes to spend hours on their knees rubbing wax into their floors.
We’ve got better things to do with our lives!
Dull floors
Generally speaking, laminate floors are really easy to keep clean; if you vacuum regularly and mop the place every once in a while, you’re pretty much good to go. But after a while, you’ll start to notice that the floor is starting to lose its shine, until you’re left with a depressingly dull laminate floor. Mopping is the solution for this, but you do have to make sure you’re using the right cleaning product.
Vinegar
You probably already own the solution: vinegar! White vinegar, or cleaning vinegar, is the best cleaning product when it comes to your laminate floors. If you use vinegar, you don’t have to worry about streaks, spots or grease on your floor. Add a splash of vinegar to a bucket of lukewarm water. Make sure the water isn’t too hot, because that will cause streaks! Also make sure your mop isn’t too wet. An overly wet mop can make the laminate cause to bulge or swell.
