Those nasty grease stains on the oven door will be gone in a jiffy!

When an oven is used on a regular basis, nasty, greasy stains on the inside of the oven door are inevitable, unfortunately. Granted, cleaning the oven isn’t the most fun chore in the household. Luckily, we’ve got a simple trick that will make cleaning the oven door a piece of cake.

All you need is baking soda and some distilled white vinegar.

Preparation

First of all, it’s important to properly prepare the oven before you start cleaning it. Turn it off and let it cool down completely if you’ve just used it. Open the oven door so it’s placed horizontally. It’s important to cover the air holes at the top of the oven door with a cloth or some plastic. When the oven heats up, these holes make sure the hot air can get out. If any water or cleaning product gets in these holes, it might end up between the two glass panes in the oven door. This can cause the glass to become permanently clouded.

So, now you’ve prepared the oven, it’s time to actually start cleaning it! Go to the next page for a step-by-step guide!
