9. Exhaust hood
Since you’ve just cleaned the kitchen cabinets, you might as well clean the exhaust hood as well. Take out the filter and clean this thoroughly with some soapy water. Wipe clean the rest of the exhaust hood with a damp cloth and a bit of all-purpose cleaner.
10. Stainless steel
We’re not done with the kitchen just yet! Why not clean any stainless steel appliances you might have? Mix together warm water with a little bit of dish soap in a spray bottle and use this and a microfiber cloth to clean the stainless steel with.
11. Behind furniture
Pull your furniture away from the walls and get busy with your vacuum cleaner. We often vacuum around furniture, and maybe underneath, if we can reach there, because it’s just easier than moving our furniture around every time. Can you imagine how much dust and dirt gathers in those places we can’t reach? Take the time to clean there today!
12. Mattress
Use one of the small vacuum cleaner attachments meant for upholstery and firmly press it into your mattress to clean it. Clean small stains with a damp cloth. Make sure you let your mattress air out and dry after cleaning it! Want to know how to thoroughly clean your mattress? Read about it here.
