5. Remove dog hair with a squeegee
Does your dog regularly sit on the back seat of your car? Then you know very well that the seat will have a lot of dog hairs. You can easily remove these hairs with a squeegee. 6. Make your own car wash
Is your car very dirty on the outside, and you’re not willing to spend money on an expensive cleaning product? Then put around 50 milliliters of detergent and 50 grams of baking soda in a container with 400 milliliters of water. Mix well, and voila: you have your own car wash. Wash your car as you would normally.
7. Give your car a nice smell with the clothespin trick
You can hang an air freshener in your car to make your car smell nice again, but you can also use a clothespin. Sprinkle some of your favorite essential oil on a wooden clothespin. Then clip the clothespin onto the ventilation grille of your car. When you turn on the ventilation in your car, the aroma is spread on the pinch!
8. Vodka as a window cleaner
Cleaning the windows of your car without streaks, that sounds too good to be true. But it’s possible with just a bit of Vodka. Mix a few drops of soap with a glass of vodka. Use this to clean your windows and voila! Your windows will be crystal clear.
9. Use tumble dry wipes to remove insects
Those who drive quite a few kilometers in the summer will confirm that you’ll have quite a few dead insects on the car’s bumper at the end of a trip. Although it seems like a lot of work to clean, it doesn’t have to be. Wet a tumble dry wipe and use this to clean your bumper.
