Ellen DeGeneres was born on January 26, 1958 in Louisiana. At the age of 23 she started performing as a stand-up comedian before starring on her own Sitcom called ,,Ellen’’. In this show Ellen came out as gay, and became one of the greatest icons and advocates of the LGBTQ Community. Now she is the host of her own talk show ,The Ellen DeGeneres Show’
Ellen and Portia first met in 2000, but it was in 2004 that they started dating. De Rossi has said that this relationship gave her the confidence to come out as gay. They got married in 2008, shortly after the Supreme Court of California made it legal for same-sex couples to get married,
