Cordozar Broadus was born on October 20, 1971 in California. He got his nickname Snoop Dogg from his mother, because he looked like Snoopy from the Peanots. The rapper was discovered by Dr. Dre in the early 1990s and has received fame for albums such as ‘Doggystyle,’ ‘Tha Doggfather’ and ‘Reincarnated.’
Who would’ve thought that Snoop Dogg, the gangsta rapper known for his gang affiliations in the past, was such a romantic? He married his high school sweetheart Shante Broadus in 1997 and they have been together ever since. She has stuck with him through his career, having been Snoop’s manager from when he first got started up until today.
