No brown m&m’s, red toilet paper, inflatable animals; we never wanted to believe the stories were true about musicians demanding certain things when going on tour, but Sir Rod Stewart confirms the stereotype. The Sailing-singer apparently needs a separate room for his biggest hobby: model trains. For more than 23 years, the rock star has been working on a huge model that resembles the cities of New York and Chicago and he took the model with him whenever he had to travel.
To Stewart, the trains are not the most important part. Building the tracks and the city is what brings the 77-year-old singer joy. The model is said to be very detailed and we believe it. Especially if it took over 23 years to make.
