Big Love
Also a regular fixture during the ever well-attended show is, of course, the ending. The jingle sets in, Phil steps off the stage and walks through the audience where invariably his wife Robin McGraw is waiting for him. Hand in hand, they then walk out of the picture. Awww!
Yep: Phil and Robin McGraw are obviously very happy together. They married each other in 1976, and are still together. Quite an accomplishment under normal circumstances, but of course, in Hollywood terms, it’s quite an eternity! Together they have two children: Jay and Jordan McGraw. On Instagram, Dr. Phil regularly shares sweet snaps with his wife and sons.

Second chance
But before he hit the bullseye with great love Robin, Phil was first married to another lady. Thus, McGraw first got married to Debbie Higgins-McCall. Their 1970 marriage was not long-lived. In 1973, rather than divorce, the two went for an annulment of their marriage.
According to Higgins-McCall, the very young Phil was not a nice man. For example, she hinted that he wanted to call the shots quite dominantly within their marriage. She also hinted that their breakup was partly caused by adultery. Aiii! Fortunately, then, things have now worked out with Robin McGraw, and Dr. Phil has been very happy with his wife for almost half a century.
From the old box
In addition to sweet photos and videos with his wife and son, Dr. Phil occasionally shares snapshots from the old days on his Instagram. For example, the TV therapist used to be a pot-bellied guest who caused a furor on the field during matches American football. In fact, this is what young McGraw was so good at, that he was offered a scholarship from high school to football to come play for the University of Tulsa.

At least on both photos, the amazed and admired e comments are not out of the blue! For example, in the case of the athletic photo where Phil can be seen as “Mr. Tackle,” one person responded, “You look like a mix of Marlon Brando and Burt Reynolds!” and yet another wrote “What a juggernaut…You and your wife were and are incredibly handsome.”
Would you have recognized the famous talk show host? We sure didn’t!
